Duygun Erol Barkana received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, from the Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, USA in August 2003 and August 2007, respectively. She is currently an Associate Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Yeditepe University, Istanbul, Turkey. She is interested in robot-assisted rehabilitation systems, dynamical systems and control, medical robotics, cognitive robotics, eye-tracking systems, human-robot interaction, and directs the Robotics Research Laboratory, Yeditepe University.
